Essential oils cure the snow shoveling blues

We just had a huge snowstorm with over 2 feet of snow. I had to shovel the driveway for over 6 hours the past few days to clear all of the snow. Shoveling snow is a great and intensive workout. However, my old body was not ready for that much work. Needless to say, my back was feeling the effect of all that labor along with my calves, arms and shoulders. When I came in after a long period of snow shoveling, I had a painful cramp in my calf muscles. I immediately put on Cypress and Lavender which helped reduce the muscle tightness. When I went to bed after the first night I put on my usual back pain oils (Basil, Cypress, Aroma Seiz and Peppermint) and woke up with just some minor aches. I went out again in the morning and finished up the remainder of the driveway as well as a pathway to the middle of the street. I put on all of the oils again the second night and the back ache was gone. I usually have some major back pains after doing that much shoveling; this time with the application of essentail oils, I was able to shovel for a much longer period of time with limited back problems.
